Note: You can change the language of the game at any time before launching the game. However, you would have to wait for all supporting files to be downloaded, installed, and verified each time you choose to do so.
How To Change The Language In The Sims 4 For Mac
Right-click on The Sims 4 cover in Origin and select Game properties. You should be able to change the language from there, unless you game isn't language-free and it's locked to use only one or some languages.
Yesterday I installed The sims 4 from origin, and I had to choose between Russian, Polish and some other language, so I choose russian. It is really hard to play in russian, so i want to change the language to english. I know that you have to install language packs on windows, but i dont know how you do it on mac.
Do you have other games in English? It is very odd for the game not to give you multiple options for which language you wish to use. I would try EA Customer Support again and just wait on the phone. It does take them awhile to answer, but they may be able to help you.
but now , i have a mack, and i downloaded the same game from origin and i dont have the english language, because the language pack is not installed ( i dont know how) i know how to change the language on the computer (the sims 4 files) but then the game crashes, because although i changed the language in the script to english, there isnt an english language pack installed manually. i hope you understand what i said :D
Afterwards, you can hold the Ctrl key and then click the game tile. Select "Game Properties" and you should then be presented with the screen shown below where you can select your desired language from the "Game Language" drop down menu.
The first time I did it without opting in for the Beta Client and that time I actually had to accept the license agreement in Spanish. So I thought it worked, but when opening up the Sims4, it was still in English. I closed everything, changed back to English and then started again. Opted in for Beta Client but it didn't have no update window, I then updated by choosing it myself, changed to Spanish but all stays in English.
Although your Mac is set to display the language of the country or region in which it was purchased, you can choose a different language to use. For example, if you bought your Mac in the United States but you work primarily in French, you can set your Mac to use French.
Note: Most languages create a new folder The Sims 4, Die Sims 4, Los Sims 4 etc. in the folder Documents\Electronic Arts, so you might lose your previously created Houses, Sims aso. When necessary, copy your folders Saves and Tray to the newly created folder.
I installed the language strings and changed to english, everything was ok when suddenly the game was unable to start, since the chosen language did not exist or whatever.is the english laguage package damaged? Please help
Maybe some languages are restricted for Armenia.Check in the EA app for your region. In the EA app click on the down arrow next to your login nameSelect SettingsIn settings click on ApplicationSelect an other country for your region.
My region is changed to united states in the ea app, but what is weird is that when installing the game there were only 3 available languages, russian, polish and czech. No english. Maybe I should reinstall the language strings and try again with the language changer? Since every other language works fine and there seems to be a problem with english language package specifically. Today it worked normal but when i quit the game and came back a couple hours later there was this error message about the language not functioning properly

Just to make sure you have all languages installed for all packs, download the language strings, extract with winrar and copy the folders to your installation folder of the Sims 4.The run the language-changer again.
